Tomato Soup • 6 to 8 servings


Garden tomatoes make tasty soup!

Ingredients

8 cups tomato soup stock
3-4 large tomatoes, diced
2-2 1/2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Method

In a saucepan, combine tomato soup stock, milk and heavy cream. 
Simmer for 15 minutes stirring often.

​Add diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper and heat on medium-low for about 30 minutes.

Ladle into bowls and top with your favourite grated cheese and fresh herbs.
